2. Who is using IE on Mac? Abandoned by microsoft for 2 years, no significat upgrade for 4 years. Doesn’t know anything about today’s web standard (CCS2, XHTML, JAVA 2, etc.). IE Mac is dead for long.

Not me, but I was wondering if it was the same on IE PC, and that would be a huge problem. Does this thing look good on IE PC?
IE PC is totally different, more updated. Blix looks good with IE PC.
However, I don’t like Blix colours (too bright, not enough contrast), fonts too small. You have to change the CSS file for that: layout.css is about the “layout”, size, position, and spring_flavour.css is about colours.

Please take note that this theme is very difficult for a newbie to customize unless you are very fluent in XHTML, PHP and CSS.
The author of the theme does not offer any support and in the forum there are much less knowledgable helpers than help seekers.
The theme also uses some non-WP functions (its own blx functions) and those also can cause quite a nightmare.

I’ve got 11 years web design experience and I still refuse to touch that theme with a 10-foot pole.

moshu – Can you offer up any alternatives? I like the layout of the top object with navigation and the layout of the side bar with catagories – very easy navigation. Anything that is close to this?

i’m REALLLLY partial to WPAndreas09 myself (it’s a 3-column, but Andreas has some great themes)

One last question (you guys, and gals are great) – how do you know if a theme works in WordPress 2.0?
99% of them works, don’t worry.
I’ve done so much work on this theme and my site is almost done and now i’m realizing that it’s a lot different than the others.
But my question is; if I want to integrate XDForum into my site, so i turn on the module and I can redirect the Forum tab to go into my forum no problem, but once it’s there I want the ‘Forum’ button to be lit up and only the Home button is lit up. Anyone know how this is changed? Thanks.
