However, a significant portion of the codebase exists to maintain backward compatibility with older WordPress versions, legacy integrations, and existing user setups. Many users rely on long-standing functionality and configurations, so removing older components aggressively could unintentionally break existing websites and workflows after updates.
That said, we are continuously working on optimizing the plugin architecture, reducing unnecessary overhead where possible, and improving performance with every release. Your feedback is genuinely valuable and helps us prioritize these improvements further.
If the plugin has otherwise been working reliably for you, we would truly appreciate it if you could reconsider the rating after this clarification. Supporting a wide range of environments while maintaining stability is something we take very seriously, and we’re actively balancing compatibility with modernization.
