I would like to set up a filter in my Cleantalk firewall to blacklist certain hosting providers and proxy services by their ASNs.

Like for example AS14618 for Amazon
    or AS132203 for Tencent Building

    How can I achieve that?

    Hello @karinbrenig,

Yes, you can do that. Please, follow this guide:
    https://cleantalk.org/help/security-firewall

You can add a single IP address and/or networks as well.

    Did it help?

    Thank you very much.
I found a website where I could generate an IP-range list for the specific ASN that I want to block.
Then I imported the list as a CSV into my CleanTalk personal blacklist.

Tomorrow I’ll hopefully see less traffic from these bastards 🙂

    Hello @karinbrenig,

Also, we have some automated solutions to mitigate bots at your site,

    1. How about to tune Traffic control option in the Security plugin? This options blocks visitors/bots which reach limit of page hits per time interval. You can find it here,
WordPress console -> Settings -> Security by CleanTalk -> General Settings -> Traffic control.
    2. If you’re user of our Anti-Spam plugin, turn Anti-Crawler option on in the plugin. This option is designed to dead stop traffic from bots on your site. It protects your site from content stealing! The option is here,
      WordPress console -> Settings -> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk -> Advanced settings -> Anti-Crawler.

Both options don’t require additional actions, work in background and have logs over there,

    Does it help?

    You are welcome!

If you don’t mind, please leave your review of your experience using the CleanTalk plugin:

    Kind regards.
