Block featured image for some posts only

Quick Background:
My company’s website posts blogs relatively frequently but we also use the blog to do bio’s of each team member. We use Elegant Theme’s Divi theme and through that we have a Meet the Team section that uses the featured image of the post to show each team members picture. You can click that to see that person’s bio. Unfortunately, because of the settings to display our main blog post images in the posts, it makes the team members photo’s in their bio look terrible and huge.

Question: Is there a simple way to block the featured image from showing up inside the posts for team members (but not for any other type of blog post) but still display on the Meet the Team page??
