Hi there,

First of all this plugin is fantastic. It’s saved me so much time, and it works perfect.

I just wondered if it was possible or it was going to be possible to add block previews? I’ve built around 20 custom blocks, but I’d like to add some kind of preview in like the core blocks to help with the admin user experience.

Thanks for the feedback! Sorry for the late answer, I was very busy with ACF Extended Pro lately. There is already a feature request to add an “Image Preview” from the back-end to replace the Block Preview HTML: https://trello.com/c/I0whDmhs/338-dynamic-block-types-add-image-preview-setting

A proper Block Preview with dummy data would be very hard to achieve from the UI, since there can be an infinite number of fields and sub fields to display. An image preview would be a mixed-solution.

There is a solution tho, you can use the acf/register_block_type_args filter to change the arguments of Block Types registered using the ACF Extended: Dynamic Block Types, and add your own preview data. See documentation: https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/acf-register_block_type_args/
