Block specific requests

    Hi,

    I do not really know how to explain this, but I will try my best and hope to be clear.

    I have a lot of 404 hits, even more that 100 per day, on a specific path that does not exist anymore in my WordPress website.

    Is there a way to block all external requests/calls/access attempts to this specific path? The path is “wp-content/uploads”+”date” which were modified to “my-main-upcharges”.

    Hello, @massimoroccia

    At the moment the Security plugin has no features to block access to a specified URL.

    But we will discuss with the team what we could do. We will inform you next week.

    We decided to keep all as it is.

    If you need to solve an SEO problem, you should use SEO specified plugins. As an example, https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/404-solution/
