Hey everybody,
I’m taking a course “Intermediate Theme Developer” on creating block themes for WP sites. But I still don’t understand how to create sites if I have custum HTML-markup and CSS-clases and I need to create a site from blocks that are not in the catalog.

Custom HTML can be worked into your theme’s own blocks and patterns. Naturally it makes sense to utilize existing WP elements to the extent possible, but part of what makes some themes more attractive than others is when they offer additional elements that are not available in core WP.

@threadi Thank you very much. I watched similar videos, but it doesn’t say how to make custom blocks and themes

@bcworkz Yeah, that’s what I’m interested in. When I’m given an HTML layout with my own styles and I need to make a website
