    Meanwhile, try to disable shortcode registration if it is enabled. Mistape itself doesn’t modify the content, it only appends its caption, so no idea what could break oembed parsing in your case.

    I have the same problem with youtube…I just copy/paste the link of the video in wordpress. I noticed that the problem appear when the video is embeded only at the end of the post so just before the mistape caption. If I put some text after the video it works. I have not enabled shortcode registration.

    Yes, that one helps!

    This happened because the caption was directly appended to post content and tailed to the oembed link so WordPress didn’t spot one.

    Added a newline, problem resolved. Big thanks for pointing out that issue.

    Updated 1.1.1 version is on its way.
