block vs widget, which will rule wordpress

    Hi All
    block and widget, which one will be our future? some plugin such as elementor, still doesn’t support block, it can only add widget to the page.

    But the default gutenburg editor. I found out my custom developed widget is disappear, unable to add to the page.

    So both block and widget has its disadvantage.
