Blocked

Hi,
I have just downloaded this plugin. When people sign up, confirm via email they create an account successfully. When they login and press enter they get a white page with ‘blocked’ in the top left corner. I cannot find any permissions settings to change this error.

Hi, this doesn’t sound like something Profile Builder would generate.
Can you try to deactivate the other plugins one by one and see if the issue persists? It sounds like a plugin conflict.
I have tried the plugins like you said and find no joy. Is there any specific plugins you have come across in the past that cause this? I suspect I am not the only one.
Actually you’re the first to report this issue.
I would like to investigate further. So you disabled all the other plugins except for Profile Builder and the issue persists?
Could you send a link to your website via this form so we can have a closer look at it?
Thanks,
the website is http://www.roadrunnermarketing.co.uk/ but I cannot really afford to disable everything on my site BUT I have youe plugin for http://totk.co.uk/ and I am finding the same problem. I can give you a list of plugins I have active if that helps?
It might. Send them over.
I had a look at http://totk.co.uk/ and Profile Builder doesn’t seem to be active there, so if the issue persists on this site as well, it’s most probably generated by a different plugin.
Sorry I disabled it from Top of the Kop.. OK so they don’t share any plugins that are both active so I doubt it has anything to do with the plugins. I have another site I own called groomyourbeard.com which has it and they both share all-in-one-seo and jetpack plugins
Hi,
I’ve looked into both sites. I assume they are probably on the same server/hosting.
What’s happening is that it does not allow Profile Builder front-end login to access the /wp-login.php, therefor users are unable to login.
That’s why you see the “Blocked” message. It’s not from PB, these words don’t exist in our plugin.
This has something to do with your servers access/security rules. You can find out more about these limitations here.
good news I know have access BUT it is giving the subscribers access to my dashboard? I only want them to be logged in so they can create a business directory entry nothing more.
Glad it works now!
You can use the “redirect” parameter in the [wppb-login] shortcode like in this example to redirect your users after they login to a certain page.
For not allowing your users to access any of the default WP page requests (Login, Register, Edit Profile, Lost Pass) and redirect them to the front-end ones you should look into the Custom Redirects module from PRO.
Having the same issue as Ivladskillz.
Already disabled all other plugins but unfortunately no change.
@adispiac you mentioned a possible issue with the servers access/security rules… what are you thinking of? Because when I disable the Profile Builder plugin I don’t have an issue at all login on to the website…
Hi,
Could you please contact your hosting and ask them if they have a firewall restriction set on your website?
