Blocking _hs cookies

Hi,

We are using this plugin, and in order the comply with GDPR laws, the hs cookies shouldn’t be set before the cookie consent is gives. But, it appears that hs cookies are set prior to cookie consent.

We have cookiebot by usercentrics as our CMP, and the hs cookie are not blocked even though the categories are correct.

If that helps, in the code I can see that hs scripts are fired even before the cookiebot, so I suspect that could be the reason cookiebot is unable to block the cookies.

Hi @hammadarshad1 ,

Can you clarify which hs cookies you are referring to. Are these cookies being set on your machine when you interact with the HubSpot sign up and log in or are these hs cookies the ones being set on the browsers of your users when they interact with your website?

The cookies are set soon as the site is loaded, before interacting with HS forms, or anything.

Thank you for the response. Can you clarify if you have updated the data privacy settings in your HubSpot portal:

https://knowledge.hubspot.com/privacy-and-consent/how-do-i-turn-on-gdpr-functionality-in-my-hubspot-account

Once this is done you should see:

> Newly created forms will include a data privacy section in the footer of the forms. For existing forms, add notice and consent information for each form.
