    I have searched the forums and can’t figure out what I’m sure is a simple thing – how does one make the description that is entered under general options show up in the header? I assume that is where it is supposed to show up?
    Forgive this newbie for what is probably a very dumb question!
    Thank you,
    Mark

    Mark,
    There are no dumb questions here. I have wondered that very same thing myself, except I’ve never followed up on it like you just did.
    Thanks for posting your question!

    TG has it done I think .. check the source

    bloginfo(‘description’);
    You can add that after bloginfo(‘name’).

    i got it to work but then the description is the same size as the title…i guess putting it here is probably not the answer I’m looking for.

    Mark,
    You can put it anywhere you like…I created a CSS class called “subtitle” and did my styling there. Then, I put the subtitle text onto the page whereever I felt like having it. You could put it in its own DIV if you like. The “where” is really up to you.
