For some reason, a blog post I just added made several other posts disappear from my blog listing on triadgoodwill.org/blog. The newest post, just went up this morning, but three other posts disappeared from the main blog listing. This happened with another post and I had to disable it, but I really can’t do that right now with this post. I haven’t changed any settings and didn’t do anything with this post I haven’t done with the others. Any suggestions? Theme is Dante.

  • Did you look into the daashboard blog post area and make sure publish setting is not FALSE OR your blog post is not marked as private?

Yes. They are all published and I can find them by typing keywords into the search on the website. They just aren’t showing up in the blog listing.

What is common to them? Are they all in the same category or using the same tags?

The ones that disappeared are in the same categories as ones that are still showing. I checked and all categories are set to post to the page. Everything is properly activated.

It seems that your site is showing only one post on the first page of the blog archive.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

I figured it out! I had used the page builder tool that came with the theme on this post, which I don’t normally. I switched to a classic editor and it fixed the problem. Thank you everyone for your suggestions!

Great – glad that problem has been resolved
