    Hello Team,

Yesterday, I scheduled a blog post to go live, but when I checked the website, it wasn’t published as expected. Upon reviewing the backend, I noticed a “Missed Schedule” error highlighted in red.

Could you please help check the issue and ensure the blog goes live? I’ve attached a screenshot for your reference below:

I have manually published the blog for now to ensure it’s live. However, could you please investigate why the post did not go live automatically as per the schedule? This issue might be related to the cron job or other background publishing settings.

Appreciate your help in resolving this so it doesn’t happen again.

    Thanks in advance 🙂

It is possible that the WP cron jobs are not running correctly on your site, which can have many causes: plugins you are using or even your hosting. Take a look under Tools > Site Health to see if any issues are mentioned there.

    Hi @juanforce,

The “Missed Schedule” alert shows up when the WP Cron job specific to the post doesn’t run.

This could occur due to various reasons like there isn’t enough traffic, load on the server etc

If you are looking to ensure the posts never get missed, then a better solution would indeed be to use a plugin like Scheduled Post Trigger:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/scheduled-post-trigger/

The above plugin will check if there are any “Missed Schedules” and will publish such posts immediately.

    Regards,

    Nithin
