Is it possible to select a grid layout for the blog page (posts home page) with the free Pinnacle theme as shown in your example page:

    http://themes.kadencethemes.com/pinnacle/blog-grid-example/

I can see how to do it for blog categories pages (Appearance > Theme Options > Blog Options > Blog Category/Archive Defaults) but I can’t see anywhere to do that for the blog page in the Theme Options or on the Pages > Posts Page itself.

    Thanks

    Roy

  • Hey Roy,

Firstly, be sure that you’re not assigning a posts page in settings> reading. Just leave the selection blank, otherwise the theme template will not be usable.

After you are sure there is no posts page assigned, go into your blog page and assign the “blog grid” template.

Does that work for you? If not, please post a link to your blog so I can see the current configuration.

    Hi Kevin

Yes, that’s exactly what I’d done. Changing it as you suggested to ‘no posts page assigned’ and then selecting ‘blog grid’ does exactly what I wanted.

Thanks for your extremely prompt help.
