Blog page layout question

Hi. I have a blog page and currently only two blogs on there. Obviously, there will be more going forward!

However, how can I find out whether the way this presents will change when there are more – at the moment they are listed one below each other but ideally it needs to be a grid format or something else so that page doesn’t just grow to a massive length and people have to scroll down for miles!

When I had more draft/test blogs it did display in a grid with smaller space given to each and just an intro of the topic underneath each one. This is how it was set up by the web developer but I don’t know where to go, where to look, or what settings to investigate/change/apply so that it would be in a grid type of format.

I’m assuming that such a format would have a max no. of blog items that would show, and some way of scrolling or searching… to see other blog items?
