You have a few options, but all of them require you to learn a bit more about WordPress and how it works. Widgets and sidebars and how they work. What plugins are and how they work.
AND….
You are going to have to learn some basic html and css. After all you are building a website.
https://www.w3schools.com/ is a good start.
Now that you have a better understanding of WordPress, your theme probably has some footer widgets for blog posts. You can disable them.
As for where the blog posts appear, If your theme allows you can set a blog posts page as your home page or any other page in the site. There are plugins that allow you to place post in other places as well.
If you do make ANY changes to your theme’s files you will NEED a child theme so updates do not erase your changes.
Creating a child theme is very basic and does not require and coding skills, just the ability to follow directions and copy/paste some code.

OR……. Pay someone like me who has been doing it for years and can bang out a custom site in a few days/weeks.
Remember, although WordPress is an easy Do-It-Yourself platform, it is no different than buying/building a kit car. You will need an understanding of the tools and some mechanical knowledge to follow the directions and make it run.

1-for questions about changing size of featured image, the theme developer might be good source of guidance.
is this the source where you got your theme?

2-can you share an example where the blog posts are displayed in the footer area?
Just a general reminder, if you are looking for someone to pay to do the work please try http://jobs.wordpress.net/ or https://jetpack.pro/ and do not accept any hire offers posted to these forums.
It is generally frowned upon to solicit work on the forums.
Wasn’t trying to solicit work, just using my services as an example that there are professionals out there that do this for a living and it is not as easy as everyone thinks-
@contentiskey
1) Yes, this it my theme.
2) I have disabled (hidden) the footers currently as I don’t want them. For me it is just strangely bizarre that it works with displaying the “Interior” category, and not the blog page :/

“How to manage display of footers for various page templates”
Best place to ask is the theme development team for guidance.

@contentiskey sorry for the miscommunication. I was talking about the display of blog posts as seen if you click on the button “Interior”. My chosen blog page is under the page called “Blog” but it doesn’t display my posts (in the way it should be) the way it should.

1-have you tried to assign you blog posts to any other page as a test?
2-“http://anatomyinterior.com/category/interior/”
this looks like a a CATEGORY (archive) in your menu, not really a PAGE
1- yes i tried, with the same result. as soon as I asign a page as blog page, it turns blank.
2- yes it is indeed a category archive. I only have it in the menu for demonstration purpose.
