    Hello everyone,

I am having trouble using the Display WordPress Post plugin by Jetpack. When I put in the link to my WordPress.com page (https://homeschoolbukol.mystagingwebsite.com/)
, I get this list of post examples (with the Lorem ipsum) that’s got nothing to do with the posts that I already made for testing. Like for example, I used this plugin and it shows sample posts if I don’t have posts yet. But if I make a new post, it won’t show it, only the sample posts that are generated by the plugin itself.

I tried putting my Blog URL (https://homeschoolbukol.mystagingwebsite.com/blog/), but it gave me the error message “Cannot load blog information at this time.”

I would really appreciate your help. Thank you!

P.S. I use the theme Dara by Automattic. I also use SiteOrigin’s Page Builder plugin so that I will be able to put the Latest Blog Posts in a different place aside from the Footer or Sidebar.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

I don’t see any posts on the site aside from the sample posts with the Lorem ipsum text. Did you remove them again?

Please again set the root URL for the site, https://homeschoolbukol.mystagingwebsite.com/, in the widget settings, and then publish a new post, making sure it’s published and visible on your blog page.

Is it still not getting pulled into the widget? Let us know if it still won’t work.

    Hi,

Thank you for the reply. I already set the URL again to https://homeschoolbukol.mystagingwebsite.com/, and published a new post, which I named “New Testing Post”, but it still won’t show, except the sample posts already generated by the plugin. I made sure that the test post that I made is published and visible, and I turned on the option to stick this post to the front page. Please help.

    Thank you!

Okay, this looks like it might be a caching issue in this case – the content of the widget gets cached on your site’s server and can take a while to update after publishing a post, but sometimes the cache can also fail to update.

This is something that’s controlled on your hosting provider’s end. Log into your dashboard at https://my.pressable.com/ and click on Settings for your site. You should see an option there to purge the site’s cache.

If that doesn’t work, please contact Pressable support via the contact button on that Settings page to ask if there are any other methods they recommend to clear the site cache.
