the new post comes in as a “Comment” on the referenced post?
This is known as a pingback and is ideally meant to notify you when another site links to one of your posts. You can disable pingbacks under Settings -Discussion., You should also be aware that not all theme display pingbacks with “standard” comments.

Ohhhh, OK. Well this theme was generated with Artisteer, so there is probably no settings for it unless you know code.
So is it safe to trash these or do I need to approve them?

For some reason the search ww.wp.xz.cn is not working for me. Please send me a link if this has been posted already.
I’m still learning about how WordPress works under the hood.
My question is:
Why is it that everytime I publish a new blog post that contains a link to a related blog article on my own WordPress site, the new post comes in as a “Comment” on the referenced post? Is this how WordPress works or did I do something wrong?
