Blog posts LIMIT does not work

Hello, this shortcode:
Limit:
limit=”10″ ( ie Display 5 posts on your website and then pagination. To show all posts use limit=”-1″ )

does not work properly. It shows only one post per page in my blog when I apply it. Can I manage the number of showing posts? I want to be shown only 3 posts per one page on my blog page. limit=”3″ also do not work. Is it even possible with this plugin?
