blog posts missing / hidden at root level

How do I move my blog posts from the http://www.smbresearch.net root level to http://smbresearch.net/blog?

When I created a new static front page, all of my blog posts which were at the http://smbresearch.net root level have not transferred over to http://wmbresearch.net/blog, even after I followed procedures to create a blank Blog page and redirect posts there on the Settings ====> Reading page.
