    Hi
Just a quick question, as I couldn’t find info on this at Jetpack.me.

I have a bilingual site, and the author posts seperate posts for the two languages (not tranlations, but seperate). Jetpack’s Blog Subscriptions is active and I’m wondering, will followers get an email for posts published in both languages? Or will the follower who subscribed in english only get the english posts?

    Using WPML for managing languages.

    Regards, Thorir

I’m afraid Jetpack doesn’t allow you to have 2 subscriber lists; your Jetpack subscribers are all part of a single list, and will receive a notification for each post that is published on the site, regardless of its language.

If you’d like to use WPML, you’re probably better off deactivating Jetpack’s Subscriptions module under Jetpack > Settings, and use a tool like Mailchimp, that will allow you to build different forms, and thus different subscriber lists. You can then place each form on a different language page, and you’ll be able to send different content to each list.

    I hope this helps.
