Blog Subscriptions Widget

Hello,

When a person signs up for our blog with your widget they automatically get an email to confirm. The problem is when the subscriber doesn’t get the email, or it goes to their spam folder, they accidentally delete it, forget to confirm it, etc. and then try to subscribe from your widget again. The widget once again gives them the message that a confirmation email was sent. This however is not actually happening. I have already had quite a few situations where this has happened and it concerns me because we are losing our readers due to this frustration. The way we figured this out was that we tested what I stated above and found that our email got held up at https://subscribe.wordpress.com under the pending tab. Most subscribers will not know to go here.

We would like the widget to actually resend the email. Is this possible?
