I added the blog and it shows the archive list fine. When I use a tax as the link above then the archive list will not filter the list to tax? The elementor archive will do that.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @thecatim,

    Thanks for contacting Leap13 support!

Well, I’ve tried to replicated the issue from my end, so could you please check this test page and let me know if the same issue exists?

I I look at your blog archive for https://nilepromotion.com/omardoc/tag/tag2/ and https://nilepromotion.com/omardoc/tag/tag3/ then it works fine.

As I mentioned when I use the elementor pro blog it works as expected.

As I use cats & tags tax very intensively through the website I can also tell you that in every case the tax has worked well except for one….I have several types of blogs such as the std post posts and a ‘download manager’ powered by tax I have noted that not all post types from all vendors always support custom tax types as I use one custom tax type and have had to select vendors that support custom tax types. Inside your properties I do see you can filter for tax types however this is too static for my needs.

I am an embedded developer so I understand code however can you please explain to me how the elementor blog or your blog filters against the tax when it is called? I do not understand the mechanism for this except that I see the url embeds the tag and somehow that calls the archive with that filter? Can the post item do the same?

As mentioned the only thing I can think could be an issue is that from experience I have seen that support for custom tax is usually absent or buggy and because I am using custom tax it might be a bug?

I do commend you for the blog element that you have provided at no charge as it is by far the best one I have experiemented with for blogging and I think I have tried most now but they are lacking a lot. It’s a good model to give away the blog element.

My WordPress is 4.8 with php 8.0

Thank you for your help sofar.

    Hi @thecatim

Hope you’re doing well today 🙂

Well, I believe this may be something related to the widget code itself. So, our devs would really appreciate if you could send a message on our website so they can check things and see if there are any issues in the plugin itself.
