Blog without using a Database?

    Hello,

    I’m new to wordpress and am wondering if it’s possible to have a wordpress blog page inside a website that’s not a wordpress theme

    Also is it possible to have the blog driven by excel instead of a database?

    For ex. I would like the user to update the excel sheet for there blog instead of giving them access to a database

    Any Suggestions would be great

    WordPress cannot run without a theme and must use a database (excel is not that kind of database).
