• I created the domain whatmichaelthinks.com a few days ago. I’ve changed the name servers to Bluehost, and I have logged in before to my WordPress dashboard, which allows me to add plug-ins and install Jetpack.

However, when I try logging in to my dashboard on a different computer, it redirects me to the free WordPress dashboard where I can’t access Jetpack or plug-ins.

    whatmichaelthinks.com/wp-admin —–> whatmichaelthinksdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin

How do I fix this problem?

  • My guess would be you have a redirect of some sort either at wp.com or bluehost. Did you ever activate url forwarding for any domains?

I have no idea what that means, but I didn’t activate anything. The thing is, it worked fine last night, but this morning (on a different computer), it redirects me to the free WordPress dashboard rather than the Bluehost WordPress dashboard.

If it was ever set up that way, the other ‘puter may need its browser cache cleared.
Also, open a cmd screen and type in:
    ipconfig /flushdns
That should clear out any stored dns information.

What is a cmd screen? Is this terminal on a Mac?

    I already cleared my cache.

Yes, but ipconfig is a Windows command.
