    Hi all,

Had a question about Jetpack Backups and BlueHost.

I was working for someone who had a WordPress site hosted by BlueHost and we also had backups setup through Jetpack Backup.

The owner of the website did not sign up for a hosting renewal with BlueHost and the website was taken down and after the hosting period was over and the site and data was deleted according to BlueHost.

My question is – am I still able to use the backups from Jetpack backups to restore the site after re-hosting WordPress? Or is everything gone now?

BlueHost is telling me that everything is gone but I was hoping that the Jetpacks backup were stored separately so those would be able to be used to restore the site once we re-enabled hosting. Is that not the case?

Hope this is enough info! If you need anything else let me know!

Can any Jetpack employee please reach out to me?

I had a paid backup plan and can not get in touch with anyone at all.

My login to wordpress is no longer working and I need to get in touch with support for Jetpack backup to check on my backup availability.

    Hi @futuremanhank

Hi @gaurav984 – when I go to that link it asks me to login but I am never able to get logged in successfully. It keeps looping me back to the login page without ever proceeding.

Is there another way we can continue? I really need to get some answers on this.

    Thanks!

    Hi @futuremanhank,

I am sorry to hear about the issue with the contact form. Can you share the URL to the website for which you need the backups? I can then check and send a message to the Jetpack connection owner via email.

    Hi @gaurav,

Thank you for getting back to me. The website in question is web3degree.com and backups were purchased on 12/23/2022.

I believe the email I used for the backup registration was [email protected] but it would appear our Google workspace for the email is currently suspended which I am looking into. Is there any way we could communicate with another email or anything else I can do?

If you could send additional responses to [email protected] that would be great.

    Thanks!
