I uploaded an image (a pencil sketch) on to my project page, to test the resolution. The image is 700px x 350px (100px resolution) and is displayed at full size. When I publish the page, the image is blurred and when I click on the image, the image is much sharper.

    Here is the link:http://www.agenrich.com/?page_id=24

I would like to know if my image sizing is wrong and how may I improve the display on the page. Would love some suggestions!

    Thanks in advance!

Sorry here is the link: please scroll down

Is there an ideal size for posting .jpg file in wordpress without it blurring?

    Hello!

Any resized image will appear blurred. To avoid this, try uploading the image to the exact dimension you’d like it to display at.

In your case, your image is 787 x 787 pixels. I suggest resizing this image to 393 x 393 pixels.

I am using the free version of the Make theme. Where can I find a list of the default dimensions. I have seen the dimensions for the favicon and thumbnails, but I am not sure where to find the others.

    Hello again!

Unfortunately, there isn’t a list of dimensions to refer to. Instead, you may like to try using this new plugin called ImageMagick.

    I hope this helps 🙂
