    Hi there,

the natural size of the image is 400x258px and its being scaled down to 140x90px… which leads to ‘blurring’ as the display is having to chop away at the original pixels.

For the best results better use an SVG image for that kinda of logo. It has no fixed resolution and will scale to suit. You will need a plugin like SVG Support to upload SVG images.

    Thanks David!

I converted the PNG to SVG and then used with the plugin.

Hmmm… it still looks blurry on my mac – maybe I need to optimise it somehow before uploading?

    Thanks! k

You will need to go back to the ‘drawing board’ – converting an SVG to a PNG, will simply wrap the original PNG inside an SVG.

I would have thought looking at the logo it was origianally created using a vector application like Adobe Illustrator ? If that is the case then you would be able to save it as an SVG file. If it wasn’t then you would need to have a vector version made.

Yes, this makes all sense – I will try to find the original.

    Thanks! k

    Glad to be of help
