    Hi,

It could be related to the update in the way it handles thumbnails. The default option is to use WordPress’ inbuilt Media settings rather than timthumb.

My suggestion would be to turn off timthumb and run a plugin like Force Regenerate Thumbnails which will recreate the images for you on your blog to the correct settings.

You can also set the crop mode to be exact which will crop the thumbnails to the exact size rather than a proportional mode. You should do this before running Force Regenerate Thumbnails.

In a future update, I’ll add an option to choose between timthumb or the WordPress inbuilt settings.

I turned off timthumb, ran force regenerate and the problem still persists. Any other ideas?

    Thanks for your help.

What’s your site URL where I can see this?

What are the settings that you have put for the Thumbnail?

Here is a picture of all my settings http://roseynews.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/CRP-issue-screenshot.jpg

    Hi,
Can you tell me which plugin you used to regenerate the thumbnails?

I notice that the images are actually smaller, e.g. http://roseynews.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/baby878-42×25.jpg is being sized up to be a 150x image which is why the blurriness is being caused.

    Hello,

I have fixed the issue by running the regenerating thumbnails plugin again. I don’t know why it didnt work before.

    Thanks for your help Ajay.
