• Hi,

Really enjoying your plug in but had a few questions:

    1. Is it possible, that when users click on the image of the book(on book grid page), that it redirects them to a blog post?

    2. Is it possible to insert author name anywhere?

    3. Is it possible to link Good Reads to it?

    4. For book summary, excerpt, review – is it possible to change the alignment/layout of it it?

    Thanks 🙂

    Hello!

    1. Is it possible, that when users click on the image of the book(on book grid page), that it redirects them to a blog post?

This would not be easy to do, even with some custom coding. Might be easier to simply add a page in WordPress, manually adding the cover images and then setting them to the blog post you want each one to link to.

    2. Is it possible to insert author name anywhere?

Mooberry Book Manager is designed to be used by a single author, on the author’s website. Therefore, there is no place for the author’s name to be listed on the book page. There are two options here:
    1. List the author in the Subtitle field, which will display underneath the title. This will work for a simply display of the name.

    2. Purchase the Mooberry Book Manager Multi-Author extension which will allow you to assign authors to books and also some additional functionality such as author profile pages, book grids based on authors, etc. More info can be found here: http://www.mooberrybookmanager.com/

    3. Is it possible to link Good Reads to it?

    I don’t understand your question.

To link Goodreads to your website? That would be a question for Goodreads I think?

If you want your book page to link to Goodreads, you simply need to put in the Goodreads URL into the appropriate field in the book details.

    4. For book summary, excerpt, review – is it possible to change the alignment/layout of it it?

For Summary and Excerpt, yes you can format them however you like with the visual editor just like any WordPress post.

For the review, that is a simple text box so if you want further styling, you’ll need to use custom CSS.
