Newbie question – How do events get booked? There seems to be nowhere to click when viewing an event. I can see the shortcode [eme_add_booking_form] but afaics it requires the event id as a parameter and I wouldn’t imagin making a new page for each event. Is there some documentation I have missed that deatil how to manage the the flow from viewing an event,through booking and then paying for an event?.

Check out the placeholder #_ADDBOOKINGFORM (add it somewhere to your single event format). See http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/category/documentation/7-placeholders/7-2-events/

Where do you mean? On the enter new event page where it says event details? I think not but nor on the Events page (do not touch, it says) but isn’t this the page that gets used by eme when an event is clicked? I can show the booking form in the event_list widget but I just want it only to show when clicking an event on the list not in the event list itself. When I get to the send booking (after clicking on the event), I am told there was a problem sending my rsvp email. It flashes up an ssl operation error but I have the paypal use certificate option = No, is there somewhere else I light have checked by accident?

No, on the enter new event page where it says “Single event format”.

Thats great. Is there a way I can set a default?

Sure, that can be set in the EME options.
