Did you also set up the cookie settings accordingly to the manual?
Please note that the privacy settings only apply to the following ad units:
- Plain text and code
- Rich Content
- AdSense ad
- Google Ad Manager
- Auto ads enabled through Advanced Ads > Settings > AdSense
You can try a dummy or image ad to check if the ad integration is working independently of the privacy settings, or use the “ignore privacy settings” option in the ad setup page.
To look into this, I would need a link to the page we are talking about and a screenshot of your actual privacy settings page.

Does the issue persist?
Can you please also check how your AdSense verification code is injected into your page and ensure that Advanced Ads is the only property doing this?
Otherwise, the plugin won’t be able to stop the ode from working before the consent.
