I tested the mentioned behaviour and the subscribing option works fine for me on Edge.
Can you please check if this is a plugin conflict? You should deactivate all plugins except Lightstart and see if the issue persists. If it doesn’t, reactivate them one by one until you find the compatibility problem. You can do that using Health Check‘s troubleshoot mode, so the changes won’t be visible to the users.
