    I’ve been seeing lots of hits from botbox that are not being blocked. Is this bot blockable?

    Are you seeing the bot in the Blackhole log?

    No. There is nothing in the log.

    Well that is why the bot is not getting blocked. In order to get blocked, the bot must show that it is disobedient. It does this by following the nofollow link, as explained in the documentation. Once it follows the link, it is added to the log and subsequently denied access.
