Scanners search for matching code patterns. That is why they find a lot of false positives regularly. Just the nature of malware scanners in general. Contact your web host and let them know their scanner detected something in the BPS wp-admin htaccess file so they can see which pattern matching code in their scanner is seeing something in the wp-admin htaccess file as malicious. They can then change/adjust their scanner pattern matching code so that it does not detect this particular false positive.

Was not a host malware scanner. I ran it again yesterday. If found the same patterns in 3 bps files. One of which I would like to report but not on this open forum. anyway to send privately.

You can send the full scan report using our email address on our Contact form page > https://www.ait-pro.com/contact/
We need the file names and the exact code that was detected as malicious. If you do not have the exact code that was detected as malicious then you will need to send us the files so that we can check them for any non-BPS code.
