Theme My Login is a plugin with additional modules that are like “sub-plugins” (my term) for doing things beyond its initial function. I recently activated one of Theme My Login’s additional modules, and now my BPS Security Mode gets turned off whenever I go to Dashboard > Settings > Theme My Login for any reason and I have to reset BPS after I have finished there at Theme My Login. That did not happen prior to my activation of any of the additional modules within the Theme My Login plugin.

Question: Do I need to tell BPS to not be concerned about Theme My Login?

The Theme My Login plugin uses the WordPress flush_rewrite_rules function to remove the BPS root .htaccess file security code and replace it with the standard default WordPress .htaccess code.

If you want to prevent other plugins that use this WordPress function from doing this then you can lock your root .htaccess file. If you have a web host that does not allow you to lock your root .htaccess file or you have a DSO configured Server then unfortunately the only thing you can do is just activate Root folder BulletProof Mode again to restore your website security/BPS root .htaccess file protection after changing settings in the plugin that uses this WordPress function.
