Braintree *descriptor* error

    Got an error message: Unable to complete transaction. Reason: Descriptor name must be 22 characters or shorter and can only contain letters and numbers.

    Are you running PayPal for WooCommerce 1.4.6.2?

    We’ll take a look and add some validation in the settings when adding your descriptor to avoid that issue in the next update. Thanks for the feedback!

    1.4.4, unfortunately I have some issues with a phone number not showing up in newer versions.

    Are you using the drop in UI or the direct CC processing?

    Oh, just noticed you said you’re running 1.4.4. It’s recommended you get updated to our latest version, 1.4.6.2. Can you do that and see if you still have troubles?
