I’ll try to take a look at it, it seems a combo of html, javascript and php so I need to check this out first 🙂

Btw: a small donation would speed things up 🙂
Thanks Franky! For the time being I’ve switched to another plugin. The reason was it required 1 less step for the user to check out. Other than that minor UX issue, your plugin offered more (and more powerful) options, but for the moment, one less step for the user is important to me.
If you are interested in tackling this Braintree thing I am very interested in both re-implementing your plugin AND donating! (by all means, the latter is clearly important if I use your work!!!).
Also, I’d be interested in your thoughts around simplifying the UX to allow a one step registration process like I was able to get with “Quick Event Manager”.
Thanks and best regards!!

Moving to a one-step registration/payment would require a lot of code changes (notably switching everything to ajax). Of course this is possible, but takes a lot of time to eliminate 1 click. And btw, you’ll still need the same amount of clicks since the plugin is meant to be used for different payment gateways, so sometimes you just need to choose the one you want.
But: if you have only 1 payment gateway, there are basic solutions available to immediately go to e.g. paypal for payments, see the FAQ: http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?page_id=195
Concerning braintree: it takes some hours to implement, so if you donate I can add it over the weekend 🙂
