Brands in CSVs

Brands do not get pulled into a csv. I have a plugin called “Woocomerce Brands Pro”

1. When I use the attribute in an XML file it works fine.
2. When I use the same attribute in csv file it only returns the value “YES”

Is it a bug or is it a limitation of csv files with your plugin?

Hi alkis12,

We have tried to replicate the issue at hand but all seems to be working just fine.

We inserted some test brands in woosea custom brand attribute added by our plugin:

And they make it to the CSV field perfectly fine:

Are you on the latest version of the plugin?

Yes Eva. Latest version.
XMLs work fine. Brands are pulled there.
CSVs do not. Just the value yes is in the field.
Keep in mind I am using “woocommerce brands pro” for both scenarios,
I am not populating the field you mention.

Hi alkis12,

XML and CSV both work the same, they work with exactly the same data just the output is different.

We have tried replicating the issue at hand with the brand field our plugin adds and with custom/dynamic brand attributes that get added either manually or by other plugin’s (woocommerce brands pro should also do so) and it all works. The brand shows in our XML and CSV feeds.

So we are a bit lost here. I suspect something else is going on. Could you send us the debug.log as described in our blog article:
