Breadcrumb link is incorrect

    This is one of my breadcrumb chains;

    Home>Docs>Linux Command Lines>Copy&Paste Linux Command Lines

    However, when I hover the “Docs” link it directs to the article and not to the page I have set for the categories (knowledge base)

    I see no option to control the breadcrumbs so please tell me how to correct this.

    @bl4ckb34rd,

    Well, we actually have the ‘Breadcrumbs’ editing option in the latest version. You can do that by navigating to wp-admin -> BetterDocs -> Layout -> Single Doc. Then, you can change the BetterDocs Breadcrumbs settings as you can see in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/qjz6x4

    @rafinkhan that is not what I mean. That only changes the title within the breadcrumb but the link is still wrong and there is no option to link it to the right page.

    So no matter in what title you change it, the links stays the same.

    Well, that’s really strange. Cause I have just checked from my end and tested with different use-cases as well. The doc page is referring to the docs landing page as it’s supposed to. Here’s the screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/sHSIxrs.png

    @rafinkhan ofc I have the latest version. Nevertheless it ain’t working for me.

    @rafinkhan found the issue and it has to do when you have a custom doc page using the short codes. Then the breadcrumb URL is wrong. If I use the default doc page the breadcrumb url points to the right one.

    However, I would prefer it also working if you have the custom page 🙂

    Well, we have checked using the Shortcodes as well. Still, we are not able to reproduce the error you are referring to actually. So, it could be an internal error that is causing this so we will have to investigate your website.
