I’ve performed some cross-testing for us today on several of my sites which have the latest versions of WordPress, WooCommerce and our free Storefront theme as the only enabled software. When doing so I’ve not been able to replicate the behaviour which you described.
The results of this testing would indicate that something on your site or hosting account is causing this particular behaviour for you rather than it being an issue with the free WooCommerce plugin itself.
This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
The best way to determine this is to:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Repeat the action that is causing the problem
If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. Deactivating all plugin minus woocommerce not helped. the problem remains in that condition too

Hey there!
Thanks for sharing the SSR. Everything is looking good there. By default, breadcrumb should not appear on the shop page. The breadcrumb appears when you create a page and use the [Products] shortcode. If you set the shop page from WooCommerce -> Settings -> Advanced the breadcrumb won’t appear which is the default behavior. I have checked your site again and it is looking good now. I believe you manage to figure it out already.

I’m glad you figured out a partial solution here. Like you’ve probably found, breadcrumb display settings are generally dependent on the theme. To totally remove breadcrumbs you can try a free plugin like WooCommerce Breadcrumbs.
