Breadcrumbs on product pages are generated by the theme, and most themes modify or replace WooCommerce’s default breadcrumb output. When you used a filter to remove the product name, that likely changed the array that your theme uses to build the breadcrumb markup.
To help narrow this down, could you share:
- The theme you’re using
- The code snippet you used to remove the product name
- Whether your theme has its own breadcrumb settings (many do)
By default, WooCommerce links the product category. If your theme is filtering or overriding the breadcrumb output, we’ll need to see which system is generating them to guide you further.
