The issue can be reproduced by creating a new page and selecting a parent page from the page-attributes.
The breadcrumb doesn’t show the parent page, only ‘Home’ and the current page.
This bug occurred after updating to 7.0.

@orgassist – I’m not using Beaver Builder (Gravity Forms instead), and I still get the error, so it doesn’t seem to be directly connected to form plugin usage.
I have the same problem. PHP 5.6.x.
Also next to disabled breadcrumbs a lot of other settings were at their defaults (also empty). Not the first time a Yoast SEO upgrade did kill (some) settings. Not good for SEO. Not everybody notices it right away. Also it sometimes is hard to recall the correct settings….
I have the exact same problem. Updated from 6.? to 7.0.1 and now parent no longer shows up.

There are tons of people with this issue, so it would seem like it’s real.

I am still unable to reproduce the issue. Here’s what I did:
First, I created a category tree then created a new post. I checked the main category but made the last subcategory as Primary as shown in the screenshot here: https://imgur.com/a/o6UmZ. When I published the post, I was able to get the correct breadcrumbs:
Home » Merchandise » T-Shirts » Women » Floral
Can you provide what theme are you using?
By the way, there is an open issue with Genesis Theme and Yoast Breadcrumbs not working together. You can read more about it here. If you are using Genesis, then it might be the issue.
I am having the problem with pages. Twentysixteen child theme with minor changes. I use this shortcode in my theme files:

I also noticed that the readability score and SEO score lamps no longer show a color. They do on the Posts, but not for the Pages.

The issue is not with posts and categories, but with pages and subpages / parent-pages; see screenshot here: https://imgur.com/a/Qs7ca.
Sorry if that was unclear from my previous comment.
I created a custom theme, so there should be no influence from themes or other plugins here.
