You can add .css,.js to Asset Exclusions, this will exclude CSS and JS files from the CDN.
Usually, assets cannot be loaded because the origin does not support HTTPS, if this is your case, please consider enabling HTTPS for your site.

I have done this but somehow my menu is disappearing on certain subpages of my sites. Not sure if this is because js and css has already been cached for the page? website is policehandbook.uk

I have seen your page, based on what I see you shouldn’t defer jquery.js because that might be important in the template you are using. Try removing defer in jquery.js and it should work.
