• I did some updates recently and noticed that my ACF image gallery would not work. I couldn’t drag/drop or add images to the gallery. The one error in the console seems to related to ‘select 2’: https://share.getcloudapp.com/nOuKd70w.

I started disabling plugins and realized that after this one was disabled it allowed for the function of the gallery field again. I have WordPress 6.1 with ACF v. 6.07. Now there could be another conflict but I have too many other plugins to try to figure it out at the moment. All I know is that it appears to be this plugin (which makes sense) that is causing an issue with ACF.

Can you please look into this?

This bug has come up a couple times before. One example here:

    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/conflict-between-wp-media-folder-and-your-plugin-with-select2/

In that case it was the “WP Media Folder” plugin causing the issue.

This plugin uses a feature of Select2 (which ships with ACF). But if another plugin is also using Select2, and they are using an older or incomplete version of Select2, it can cause a conflict.

Searching your plugins directory for “Select2” would turn up any other plugins besides mine and the core ACF plugin that are using Select2, and we can investigate further from there if you can share those plugin names.

Thanks. That’s a good idea to search the plugins directory for select2 and probably less complicated than the turn plugins/on off method lol. I’ll give that a go.
