Tijana here from the ManageWP team, I’ll try to clear things out a bit.
We work on tickets on a queue-based system. I checked our queue and I saw that you sent us three tickets, all sent a bit over an hour ago so we practically had no time to get back to you.
When it comes to our update system, it works exactly the same as if the update was done via WordPress. The only difference is, that the update gets triggered remotely. Everything after that happens exactly the same as if the update was initiated from the WordPress dashboard.
Regarding the 502 Error response, I have to admit that we have never had a case where our Worker plugin caused this to happen, as it is related to the server sending an improper response.
