We have for a long time used ‘Comments Vote’ by what was The Bivings Group to rate our comment posts.

Although it functions, it’s not ideal because 1) it hasn’t been updated for years 2) the company that developed it doesn’t support it 3) the company doesn’t even exist any more(!), as they appear to be called http://www.thebrickfactory.com/ now 4) the way the plugin stores the data appears very inefficient database-wise.

In short, we need to move to another Comment voting solution.

We’ve found and really like the ability of your plugin to have both the Up and Down vote visible simultaneously. Our current plugin just show a total score, not separating them.

One key issue for us is being able to bring over the many years worth of valuable readers’ voting data we have gathered using ‘Comments Vote’. As it was a historically widely-used comment voting plugin, do you have a upgrade path/a way to gather all of the old votes and bring them over to your system?

Hi @powcom, we do not have a migration tool, but we have a special customization team that can provide these kinds of solutions, but it’s not free. Please contact me on [vova AT rating-widget DOT com] if you interested to learn more.
