It sounds like the comments add-on might be just what the doctor ordered!
so in case i just want to add a comment to the child blog, the comments already on the child blog post are still there ? just the one i added also shows up – no delete or syncing ?

The existing comments on the child post are not deleted, no.
Do a backup and test it out on staging before deploying on live, though. Computers have misbehaved before.

Hi Edward, is it possible to broadcast comments (only one comment) to the comments section of each child page ?
