Hi @greenbluesky ,
We’re truly sorry to hear about your frustration with the recent update. Our goal with version 5 was to streamline the backup process, but we understand that it removed many of the features you relied on.
We want to assure you that we’re actively working to address these issues and improve the product from the ground up. We’ve already reintroduced custom scheduling options and backup history, and backup file formats are being restored this week.
We’re also planning to remove the two-job limitation, allowing you to create and edit unlimited backups. These changes aim to restore the flexibility and control you expect from BackWPup.
In the meantime, if you prefer the previous version while we work on improvements, you can revert to 4.1.7 here.
We thank you for your patience and hope to regain your trust with future updates.

Hi @greenbluesky,
Just wanted to follow up now that version 5.1 is out. You can now create more than two backup jobs again — each with its own title, storage, and frequency — and custom scheduling has also been restored, including hourly backups.
We understand how much was missing in earlier versions and truly appreciate your patience. If you get a chance to try the latest update, we hope it feels like a step in the right direction. And of course, feel free to reach out if anything still isn’t working as expected.
Thanks again for sticking with us!
